Chillin With My Gnomies

This weekend I’m out in Boston for Startup Weekend Boston. I’m wearing a lot of hats (Head Bouncer, Chief Transparency Officer, Mediator), but it’s been a great time. I’ve learned a whole lot, made some new friends and helped make DeskHappy, a office fitness app. I’ll give a rundown with lessons learned as soon as the weekend wraps up. Until then, signup on the DeskHappy page, follow me at Twitter:StartupWeekend, Twitter:Penguin and on the Startup Weekend Blog  Later Gnomies!Gnomies

MotoGP at Laguna Seca

I flew out to California last weekend to watch the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca, it was my first time spectating a motorcycle race, I had a great time. My favorite racer (Hopkins) got tangled up early and put out of the running, aside for that it was a good to watch. Congratulations to Casey Stoner who took first. A few of the pictures I took turned out alright.Chaz DaviesChaz DaviesValentino RossiValentino RossiAlex BarrosAlex Barros

Victory!

Cycle Plate…Over the Boulder DMV. This Story starts 2 months ago when I bought my motorcycle. When the milage was written in, the pen was low on ink, so a second pass at one of the zeros was made. Altered Title VOID!Unfortunately, this voided the title as it was considered ‘Altered’. After receiving the second title issued to the previous owners in the mail, I found that the back had been signed twice. After a third trip back to the DMV, I was given a ‘Statement of fact’ sheet to have signed by the previous owner as to why he wrote his name twice and crossed the second one out. After getting the signed statement back, I was able to go back to the DMV today and get my plates… 2 months later.
